With this outcome, the Seattle now lead their division's standings with a twelve and three record, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an eleven and four record.

Quarterback Sam Darnold threw two interceptions but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, culminating in the second score to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a six-point lead at the break before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a 55-yard touchdown run for the home side.

Los Angeles cornerback Josh Wallace then took back Darnold's initial pick for a big return, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.
